Description Of Work: "We used Summit Pest Management for pest control about mid May. They came out to check to see if we still have an issue and prevent it."
Member Comments: "I had another service provider who did some work and pulled out my dishwasher and in the process he seen some mouse droppings. The person that came out was Morgan and he was great. He was very knowledgeable about the situation and he gave me just enough information in an area where I didn't want too much information. He was very thorough and went under the house and all around and gave me some different suggestions that we could do. He actually found some issues like water under our car space which was not necessarily related to what he was there for but he gave us some points on what we could do about that. He followed up a couple of weeks later and he did actually put him on a service contract where they would come out quarterly for bugs and pests. I have barely shopped around for the price but I think it was worth the comfort. Its hard to measure the quality right now but I think it was good so far. One of the things that happened was that my dishwasher stopped working after he was here. I thought he had done something which was why it was not working. I called them up and the lady paged him and informed him about the issue I was having. He called me up though he had other plans and it was late evening and told me that it couldn't be because of anything that he had did. It was a problem with the person who had come to fix the dishwasher. He was ready to come out though it was not his problem and he had other plans just to see what he could do. He was very concerned about that. He wanted to stop by but I told him it was not his fault."

Description Of Work: "Summit was recommended to us by a contractor friend. We had problems with carpenter ants in our second story for a couple of years. We called another company first - Alpha something - and they came out twice. Something different was done each time, and we got the distinct feeling that they a) didn't know exactly how to get rid of the ants; and b) weren't really interested in resolving our ant problem but wanted to get us hooked into a service contract (four times a year or something like that). Summit came out initially to look at our problem and spent quite a bit of time talking to us about how they were going to resolve it. They told us that we'd need to wait till the weather warmed up so that the product would work correctly. We did wait another month or so, and then Summit came out and sprayed around the outside of the house. They advised us about how the ants were getting in and that we need to prune limbs and branches back. So there was nothing sprayed inside and no bad smell. They told us that it would be a couple of weeks until we saw no more ants, and that's exactly what happened. They also said that they would come back and spray again for no additional cost if we saw more ants."

Description Of Work: "We had a bee's nest in a back yard bird house. Morgan Roberts came to investigate and found they were bumble bees and since they are pollenating insects, he could not kill them. So he took the bird house in a plastic bag and took it to the forest to keep the hive alive. He was very professional and kept putting his boots on when he came into the house. I liked the service, they came out the same day we called and our prtoblem was solved in minutes."

He was very sensitive to our needs -- we're apprehensive regarding the use of pesticides, but the situation called for it, and Pacific was the right company for the job. The exterior of our house was going to be painted, and the painters, noticing the vast number of nests, were going to spray the nests themselves prior to power washing the exterior. Since there was going to be the spraying of pesticides regardless of who did it, we wanted to make sure it was done by a professional, one who would only spray the minimal, necessary amount with precision. Morgan from Pacific did just that."

Description Of Work: "Bill and his assistant, Morgan, evaluated our newly purchased home for the presence of pests, per recommendation of the home inspector. They found carpenter ants and past evidence of mice. They sprayed the perimeter of the home to get rid of the ants, and Morgan came the next day to install proper wire barriers in the basement vents as well as rodent bait and traps. Morgan removed an old birds nest, and they will be returning to spray when wood is removed from the side of the house. We set up a quarterly pest control system using their services."

I've been using this service for a number of years (6) now (Formerly Pacific Structural, I believe). Bill & Company have done nothing but floor me with their service from Day 1. It started with raccoons in the dirt cellar (mama decided to have her litter down there). I wanted to make sure they were captured and set free elsewhere. If you know anything at all about a mama raccoon and her babes, you already know a few things:
- No, she is NOT happy to let you visit her babies.
- Yes, they do EVERYTHING very close to their nest. You cannot imagine the smell (Think shit and ammonia. Now multiply it x10 and you're still not even close).
- Yes, they will tear up whatever they can find to make their nest more comfy.
- No, kits (babies) are not especially cuddly in their natural environment, despite what you may have seen on Animal Planet or Johnny Carson (But they seem to like cold pizza...go figure).
Long story slightly shorter; Not only did they deliver on their promise to trap and release all the raccoons, they also went under the house, cleaned up and repaired all the damage. Since then, we've had ants and other assorted bug issues, as well as birds in the attic (the toys in the attic are beyond even their abilities). Their prices are reasonable and, many times, the only way you even know they were there is by the card they've left behind (and the noticeable absence of whatever it was that prompted the call in the first place. From the first time we contacted him, Bill (the owner) has gone above and beyond. He is honest, conscientious and works his ass off for his clients. Do NOT hesitate to give these guys a call should you have a pest issue that requires assistance. You will regret doing otherwise."

"The owner of the company and a trainee came to our house for our appointment. The owner answered all of the questions that my wife and I had about the problem we were having with carpenter ants. That is important because my wife likes to understand what is happening to our house and asked a lot of detailed questions about the problem and what needed to be done to fix it. Mr. Larsen noticed that I have recently become disabled and am not able to do any of the normal outside maintenance that I do each spring. He had his trainee open and inspect my house vents, fix one and trim some new growth away from the house at no charge. No more ants!"

"Morgan brought their removal specialist out prior to giving the quote and took their time checking everything out to give us the best quote possible since we had a lot of squirrel nests. Once we decided to do the work they were able to start the next day, and did a wonderful job clearing everything out and blocking off the critter entry points. There was some slight drywall damage, but since we are still renovating I am OK with that, but can see how others may not be and that was why I didn't give 5 stars across the board for this company. I have already recommended them to people and would recommend them again in the future."

"After confirming evidence of mouse activity in my garage I decided to call an exterminator. Morgan from Summit Pest Management came out and checked the crawl space and outside of the house and garage for holes that mice could get through. He found two holes in the vents and suggested new weather stripping for the bottom of the garage door. Then he put baits in the crawl space and garage. He came back for a follow-up in 2 weeks, where he checked the baits and plugged up the holes. Service was courteous and timely. There's been no further evidence of mice."
